"Empowering children with practical insights into how their minds work, helping them build greater self-awareness, confidence, and overall wellbeing. "Dr Mike McGill · Clinical Philosophy
Approach to Care
Dr McGill adopts a thoughtful, structured, and accessible approach to care. He incorporates principles of non-duality to explain the nature of thought in a developmentally appropriate manner, and adapts this framework for neurodivergent children — including those with ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, and specific learning differences.
This approach enables children to develop a clearer understanding of their internal experiences while reducing distress and enhancing emotional resilience — helping children and families navigate challenges with greater clarity and confidence.
Areas of Practice
Dr McGill provides comprehensive paediatric care across the following areas.
Broad-based medical care for infants, children and adolescents — assessment, diagnosis and management of a wide range of childhood conditions.
Child and adolescent mental health, including ADHD, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, emotional regulation, and behavioural challenges.
Assessment and support for children with learning difficulties, developmental delay, and specific learning differences including dyslexia.
